In a universe submerged in the depths of despair a select few have discovered the power known as “Flow” and harness it to reshape the world to their will. The wielders of this power are known as MCs, and they use their mastery of Flow to ascend the ranks and earn the title of God MC. However, a secret organization plots in the shadows to subvert the Flow and feed off its essence. In this universe mastery of Flow grants unparalleled prestige and power to those who wield it. All who battle do so with a singular ambition: to achieve godhood and earn the renowned title of "God MC". "The Divine 9," are the ruling pantheon composed of the most powerful, revered, and influential God MCs of the current age. With the dawning of every age, a new generation of young MCs is selected from the various tribes to join the “Freshman class” at the school of “Hard Knox”. There the freshmen hone their skills in an effort to ascend to godhood. Each freshman carries with them the desire to bring glory and honor to their tribe by mastering the power of Flow. Their will, skill, and loyalty will be tested, tried, and forged in a series of fiery trials that take place across the hellish landscape known as “The Underground”. The underlying the trials of the freshman class are the vendettas, secret alliances, and hidden agendas amongst the Divine 9, that spill over into the relationships and allegiances of the class. Unbeknownst to all of them, these feuds are secretly being incited and manipulated by a group of demonic parasites whose sole purpose is to feed off the power of Flow and destroy the legacy it has created.
